Welcome to the San Diego County Public Law Library's instructional resources page. Here you will be able to view the slideshow presentations for the program our librarians presented at the 2003 Annual Conference for the American Association of Law Libraries, entitled, Law Made Public: Teaching Legal Research Classes to Pro Se Patrons, Law Students, New Associates and All Others In- Between, and Beyond Law Made Public: Advanced and Specialized Classes at the San Diego County Public Law Library. You will also find the materials that we use in teaching the various classes we hold at the Law Library. Please note that the materials contained on this page do not constitute legal advice. Furthermore, if you do decide to use the class materials in designing your own classes, they are only meant to be samples; therefore, they will need to be modified to meet your teaching needs, and the information within the slideshows will need to be updated to reflect current laws. The slideshows are best viewed in Internet Explorer 4.0 (or higher) or Netscape 7.1 (or higher). Law Made Public: Teaching Legal Research
