Law Made Public: Legal Research Class for the Public

Description:

This one hour class is an introduction to the Law Library and basic legal research. It includes a tour of the library and information about how to find laws, cases, and other research materials. This class is a prerequisite for Practical Legal Research.

Please print out a copy of the handout prior to attending this class.
 
Prerequisites: none
MCLE Credit: none
Registration Fee: Free for members; $5 for non-members
Registration: Sign up in person at the Law Library's Circulation Desk or by calling (619) 531-3900.
Location: Main Library - Downtown   

Registration Policy

  • Fee must be paid to register.
  • Register with the location holding the class or event.
  • 24 hour notice is required for cancellations.
  • No cash refunds.
  • Be at the location 10 minutes before the start of class.
