The San Diego County Public Law Library is looking for
a short slogan to capture the dynamic and important nature of our library. What
does the Law Library mean to you? What does it mean to the community? Capture
those sentiments in a short, catchy slogan and win a prize! |

The winner will receive two gift cards for Islands
restaurant, a $50 value. |

Slogans are short, memorable phrases used in advertising campaigns. |
Purpose of the slogan |
An effective slogan will:
- state the main benefit of the Law
Library and our services
- make a simple and direct statement
- give a positive impression of our
Law Library
- make the public feel a desire or
need to use the Law Library
- be easy to remember

Examples of slogans |
To provide you with some inspiration, here are some examples of famous
slogans:
- “You are in good hands with
Allstate” - Allstate Insurance
- “Think different” -
Apple
- “Don't leave home without
it” - American Express
- “We deliver for you”
- US Postal Service
- “We bring good things to

By submitting an entry into this contest, you agree to allow the San Diego
County Public Law Library (SDCPLL) unlimited usage rights to use and publish your
entry for this and/or other SDCPLL promotional and marketing uses. The winner
of the contest also grants permission for the SDCPLL to use the winner's first
name and last name initial in announcing and promoting the new slogan.
Patrons must provide:
- a name,
- phone number and/or e-mail address.
The SDCPLL does not share or sell any contact information. Information provided
for this event will only be used to contact you if you are the winner. |

Entries may be submitted
Patrons are encouraged to submit more than one entry. |

Winner will be selected and contacted by June 30, 2008.
Winner must claim prize by Thursday, July 31st at 5pm. |
